SoCal Prestige Series #2, Anza CA Sept 26

The drive was as epic as the race. This one was held 30 miles East of Temecula in the middle of nowhere and the temperatures hit 103degF for the Elite race. The course was held on a motocross track and featured mega hills and lots of sandy corners and soft steep bumps and suited me well. I grabbed the holeshot and led for the first two laps before our series leader took off leaving John Bailey and I to fight it out for second. I bobbled in a sandy section on the last lap (unfortunately wasn't paying attention to laps cards), lost my placing, and finished 3rd.
